Measurement, data analysis and correlation of liquid-liquid equilibria of water + propanoic acid+ 1-octanol system abstract
Liquid + liquid equilibrium (LLE) data for (water + propionic acid + 1-octanol ) were measured at atmospheric pressure in the temperature range of (293.15 to 308.15) K. The UNQUAC model was used to correlate the observed LLE data with a root-meansquare deviation value of 12.94%. The values of the UNIQUAC parameters for LLE were estimated by Aspen .A high degree of consistency of experimental data was obtained using the Othmer-Tobias correlation.
