Abstract:

Today, the environment that organizations work in, is full of complexity and uncertainty, thus organization’s retention is dependent to their agility and flexibility and their ability of adoption to this rapid changes, organizational downsizing which is also defined as employee reduction, task elimination and cost Reduction , is a type of strategy that attracts many organizations.Organizational climate is an substantial issue in every organization, which is influenced by downsizing, so the question is how downsizing effects on climate?Hence in this subject , we tried to explore the impact of downsizing on organizational climate dimensions through probe and studying existing related work with subject .For this purpose we choice the five dimensions of organizational climate ( according to the opinion of arabaci) which are most related to downsizing include: communication, teamwork, commitment, risk-taking, organizational structure. Research method used the description and library study in order to design the survey table. in this research process, we found the that close relationship between downsizing and dimensions of organizational climate. key supertip of research focus the relation between downsizing & multi level of demotions in organizational climate.
