The Relationship between Institutional Ownership with the Current Financial Performance of the Firms Listed in BombayStock Exchange abstract

In economically developed countries, numerous studies have beenconducted on the effect of institutional ownership on firm performance.Because of the importance of this research subject, we plan to examine theinstitutional ownership in Bombay Stock Exchange in terms of the currentperformance during 2009 to 2013. Based on the examined variables, the datapanel regression in software Eviews was used. The results showed thatinstitutional ownership has no significant relationship with current performanceof Bombay Stock Exchange Companies.
