Resource Management Based on Sustainable Development from an Industrial and Economic Viewpoint: India Versus Japan abstract

Development and progress of a society are achieved by development planning and establishing the strategies of sustainable development. Development, as a qualitative change, is a transition from one stage to another, requiring multilateral changes in political, cultural, and social aspects. Development is a complicated process having multiple economic, political, cultural, and social dimensions. It refers to providing essential bases to enable various social elements in order to progress and enhance qualitative and quantitative capabilities and abilities in society and government, including communicational and cultural rationality in addition to Habermas’ instrumental rationality. Unlike a revolution which occurs all at once, development is carried out through a process during a time period. This paper aims to look at resource management and development planning through comparing development process in India and Japan from an industrial and economic standpoint based on the concepts of sustainable development.
