Abstract:
In this article, we proposed a design and simulation a low cost and high sensitivity biosensor based on Metamaterials for cancerous cells detection by COMSOL Multiphysics software. This biosensor worked in the microwave waves. In structure this biosensor using of SRR (Split-Ring Resonator). The reason for choosing SRRs are their robust response to an electromagnetic field. We proposed structure has a high sensitivity approximately 0.56 GHz. This biosensor have also fine ability to separate the between cancer cell types that lowest amount of shifts between cancer samples is equal to 5 MHz. Important advantages of this biosensor are high sensitivity, Detect binding of Biomolecules, low cost manufacturing and free label that it can be produced locally. We simulated the biosensor in both states unit cell and array structure and have compared the simulation results.
