Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) is the second-largest state in the Arab world where locate inWestern Asia. It is the birthplace and heartland of Islam. Its huge oil and gas reserves are the predominantfeature of Saudi. The Saudi Royal Families are ruled there. Whereas regulations are based on Islamic law(the Sharia), but legislation is highly affected by ideology of Wahhabism1 and the monarchy’s officialinterpretation. Saudi women, in comparison to many of its neighbors, are faced excessive restrictions. SaudiArabia as a landmark for the ultra-conservative Wahhabism religious movement has come under increasingcriticism for its human rights record. This paper explores some dilemma on status of women and genderinequality in Saudi Arabia in the field of regulations, socio-economic and political conditions
