Flexible Capacitive Sensors based on paper sheets abstract
This article proposes a new Flexible Capacitive Tactile Sensors based on paper sheets. This method combines the parameters of sensor's material and dielectric; it forms a new model of flexible capacitive sensors. The present article tries to present a practical explanation of this method applications and advantages. To assess the performance of this model, a common capacitive sensor is simulated and the proposed model of this article and one of the existing models are assessed. The results of this article indicate that the proposed model of this article can enhance the speed and accuracy of tactile sensor; it has less error compared to the current models. Based on the results of this study, it can be claimed that in comparison with the current models, the proposed model of this article is capable of representing more flexibile and more accurate output parameters for touching the sensor, especially in abnormal situations and uneven surfaces; it increases accuracy and practicality.
