Application of different magnetic nano particle for drug delivery and imaging abstract

Development of multifunctional the ranostic nanoplatforms for diagnosis and therapy of cancer still remains a great challenge. The Dox delivery studies indicated that the drug release efficacy is strongly improved by maintaining the acidic pH conditions and the oscillatory magnetic fields, i.e. an enhancement in the Dox release was observed from the oscillation of particles due to the applied frequency, and is not effected by heating of the solution. measurements show that the nanocarriers could also be used as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast agents and fluorescent probes. The combination of synergistic NIR controlled drug release and dual modal imaging of MRI and two-photon fluorescence (TPF) imaging could lead to a potential multifunctional system for biomedical diagnosis and therapy. The gold nanoplatform provides a new opportunity for effective theranostic applications by combining dual MR/PA imaging with magnetically targeted photothermal therapy. The Fe2O3 might provide a potential approach for non-invasively detect tumor angiogenesis, evaluate tumor progression and monitor the therapeutic effective-ness of angiogenesis inhibition
