Sensory Parameters of Persian Gardens in Contrast with Physical Parameters

Can Physical Parameters of Persian Gardens Alone Guarantee Spatial Structure of Persian Past Gardens In The Present? Since studies by title of Persian gardens are based on physicalparameters and their geometrical structures are mostly emphasized, the lack of Persian garden analysis according to spatial sense and parameters and sensory tools are felt. Therefore, we have tried in this research to explore a little on Persian garden space. For this purpose, threeIranian old gardens as Shazdeh Mahan, Fin Kashan, and Eram Shiraz gardens are considered and sensory-spatial items of these gardens are explored by distributing questionnaires among visitors of the mentioned gardens. The greenness of tress is effective on stilling the sense of relaxation, the blueness of water on removing stress, the interior space on instilling sense of privacy and other significant items that are stuck in minds and reminder of Persian garden
