The study of occupational and emotional security among students in Shahrekord University of medical sciences

Security is a fundamental issue in many societies .Every country considers it as one of their high priorities. Therefore, this project was carried out to determine occupational and emotional security among students in Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences. It is a descriptive study in which 200 students participated randomly. Data collection instrument was a questionnaire which had two parts and consisted of demographic questions and assessment section of occupational and emotional security. Achieved data were analyzed by SPSS version 16. 63/5% of cases (127 ones) were girls and 36/5% (73 ones) were boy students. The age average of studied girls and boys were 22/47±2/47 and 21/82±2/46 respectively. There were no any significant correlations between age averages and parents education levels in both groups. The sense of occupational security was significantly higher in boys rather than girls (p<0.05). But the sense of emotional security was not significantly different between two groups .
