Abstract:

The daily increasing development of the cities and the need for creating more energy and also paying attention to limited sources in the field of fossil fuels has causedthe necessity of creating spaces with more energy return. Considering theimportance of the proportions and form is not only important aesthetically, but interms of sustainable architecture and also using maximum energy. Using thebuilding information modeling (BIM) system in designing and executing the projects is one of the best and newest methods of increasing efficiency inarchitecture and designing buildings, either in terms of an optimal design and timeor in terms of the cost of design which came to existence. BIM is a process ofdigital design based on a three-dimensional model which increases the life cycle ofconstruction, qualitative and quantitative values and it is able to apply the purposes of sustainable architecture. In this research, we attempted to review the methods ofparametric design in the respect of creating modern architecture affected by digitalarchitecture and introducing a technology called building information modelingthrough this review and this technology has led to the improvement of using thedigital technology in architecture. Ultimately, in order to meet the purposes ofsustainable architecture, through digital geometry and computer technology, weachieve a proper form in architecture with highest energy return. The method studied in this research, given the discussed subject, is a library and descriptive method.
