Sol gel method was employed to synthesize cobalt ferrite COFE2O4 nanoparticles and these particles were successfulssy deposited on micron size carbon fibers CFs using electrophoretic deposition EPD CFs using electrophortic deposition EPD method to study microwave absorption properties. A well stabilized suspension of cobalt ferrite nanoparticles was prepared in acetone media with a PH value of 2 and iodine acted as a stabilizing agent two different parameters scuh as voltage and time were taken into accoutn , respectively to invesgate theri effect on uniformity , the amount of deposition and thereafter miccrowave absorption. feild emission scaning electron microscpopy FE-SEM energy dispersive X-ray EDX and X-ray diffractometer XRD were employed to study morophoogy,
