Application of a fuzzy Logic Controller for a Cardiovascular System

Fuzzy logic control has brought attention of many researchers in the recent years. This is due to the simplicity of this type of control for ill-defined, very complex, or even unknown models. In this research, we have introduced new terms to the controller. As a result, the plant responses show better performance for the plant parameter variations. We applied this design for a nonlinear (complex) cardiovascular system, and showed that our method may provide better performance.
