Proactive leadership and future strategy: testing proactive law and scenario planning as facilitating tools

Leadership has a key role to play in setting strategies and mind-sets, inspiring changes, facilitating strategy implementations, and ensuring that changes are implemented. Nevertheless, the advancing technology, unpredictable changes of business environment, the emersion of entrepreneurship, and developing governmental and environmental regulations have made strategy planning become less effective and in most cases inapplicable. Leaders' reaction to such issues can take a considerable amount of time. So, the result will be losses. How are leaders supposed to be prepared for such conditions? What kind of mentality will lead them to act efficiently in an appropriate time? What facilities will improve their performance to prevent crisis or diminish the rate of damages to their organization? This article applies Structural Equation Modeling analysis to study leaders’ transformational quality and their proactive personality scales. It also studies the effect of applying proactive law and scenario planning as facilitating tools on leaders’ leadership styles
