Nano Zno: As an efficient catalyst for the one-pot synthesis of 3,4- dihydropyrimidin-2-(1H)-one derivatives under thermal and solvent-free conditions abstract

In this protocol, we have reported Nano Zno as an efficient and environmentally benign nature catalyst for the one-pot three-component. Biginelli synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-(1H)- ones derivatives via β-keto esters, aldehyde derivatives and urea/thiourea under thermal and solvent-free conditions with short reaction times and excellent yields. The most benefits this procedure is such as inexpensive and non-toxic catalyst, eco-friendly, solvent-free conditions, simple operational procedures, environmentally benign nature, one-pot, excellent yields.
