Woman , The symbol of spirit and soul in Mowlana's feminism abstract
In French Femine is the root of Feminism which means feminine and its Latin root is Femine. Feminism mostly is used in several meanings. Firstly, it means that womanshould be give equal opportunity as men in politics, economy and society. Secondly, feminism and the freedom of woman and thirdly as a social movement to institutionalize the equal opportunities and facilities with men. A first feminism in Italy and some westerncountries was focused as reformist movement in order to change the woman's social, political and economic status which consisted of woman's suffrage in labour unions, easyavailability of education, occupation, having custody of child and depending on individualistic rights such as ownership and inheritance.The movement started late 19 century and was the product of the two factors of theory and practice. Because theoretically woman was inferior in west and practically deprived of many rights, this caused political and cultural movement called feminism.
