Considering Entrepreneurial Characteristics of the Elementary School Principals of the City of Behbahan

The present article has been conducted with the aim of investigating entrepreneurial characteristics of elementary school principals of the city of Behbahan in the 2012-13 educational year. The study’s population comprised 46 principals from whom 25 were men and 21 women. Due to the limited number of the statistical population, individuals of the whole population have been considered as the intended statistical population, who were examined using the Comprehensive Entrepreneurial Test. For data analysis, two descriptive and inferential levels have been employed. The descriptive level comprised percentage, mean, and standard deviation and the inferential level included the X2 exam. It is required to note that major entrepreneurial characteristics in this paper include achievement-seeking, independence-seeking, creativity, risk-taking as well as determination and will. Findings show that the sample group under consideration is in a lower level than average in terms of entrepreneurial characteristics.
