Design and Construction of an Automtic Calorimeter Reader for Electron Accelerators abstract
In Electron Accelerators reading the exact calorimeter gauge is a problem because of the delay in reading which takes 25-30 minutes.To make reading faster and more accurate, we designed and constructed an automatic calorimeter reader that reads the calorimeters in real-time. This calorimeter reader device has one wireless receiver and two transmitters. One of the transmitters reads the calorimeter gauge before the irradiation and the other after the irradiation and they calculate the absorbed dose and illustrate the results in real-time mode.
