Effect of droughts and water level decline on ground waters qualities of Ardabil plain

One of the soundless phenomena in nature is drought which has been formed in the global level and acts as regional. The effect of droughts on ground waters decline andirregular utilization from it is caused to wells water reduction and sometimes it drains canals and springs. So, it shows total decline in the ground waters level about 11/55m and annual medium decline about 0/296 m which are led to decreasing of waters qualities in the most parts of this plain. The study of Ardabil,s plain ground watersquality performed using from chemical analysis results which have obtained from 44wells ring. In this study, most focus is on TDS, PH and hydrograph and kymograph diagram that the existence of salt, electric conduction and finally, water in the regionhave encountered many parts of the plain crisis. The principle of this research is based on flied studies & observation in which we have used from 1/50000, 1/250000scales topography maps, 1/100000,1/250000 geology scales and also satellite pictures with 1/250000 scale and GIS software for providing the present maps in the research literature . The aim of the present research is to study effect of droughts and water level decline on ground waters quality and to provide a strategy for confronting with it at Ardabil plain.
