How to align staffing practices with business strategies abstract
In this paper, we call attentions to the importance of aligning staffing practices and strategies in organizations. Thins alignment not only help companies formulate their strategies while implementing, but it also makes staffing decision more effective and sustainable and absorbs the support of top managers to HR practices. We will focus on twomain staffing practices: structuring and job analysis. By reviewing related literature we will show that prospector organizations would better adopt strategic jobanalysis and put more value on buying new talents from free market to remain more thriving and prospector, but indefender organizations, traditional job analysis fits their cultures better, and also fostering managers in the internal atmosphere of these organization helps them keep their balance and defensive situation.
