Abstract:

This paper deals Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controller used in aturbine speed control system for controlling the output obtained. The main objective is toobtain a stable, robust and controlled system by tuning PID controller using minimization byCuckoo Optimization Algorithm (COA). The incurred value is compared with the traditionalOptimization Algorithm like GA , PSO, ICA, DE and is proved better. Hence that tuningresults establishes the tuning the PID controller using minimization technique gives lessovershoot and better control performance.
