Quality management system ISO 0992:1999 in Municipality and city council (experience of other countries)

The present study by some examples investigated the experiences of municipality and city council in various countries and the related results of establishment of quality management ISO 9001:2000 were evaluated. As case study, we referred to the cities in which the municipality and city councils could consider ISO 9001 quality management system as a preparation system to increase the customers’ satisfaction, services, performance and consistency with the conditions and pre-requirements of establishment of information systems and organizational excellence systems in the issues of quality management. The present study by presenting the practical solutions and experience of other cities in all over the word, presented the perspective of the benefits of quality management system of ISO 9000 in the country.
