MULTI-OBJECTIVE POTIMIZATION MODELS (MOON) OF GEODETIC NETWORKS abstract
An optimal geodetic network is regarded as a precise and reliable network designed in an economical way. Therefore, there different types of criteria can be considered in this way such as precision , reliability, and cost. Also the designer should know he mathematical concepts of optimization and how which mode of optimization is more suitable . In this paper the multi-objective model of network optimization is considered. This model is investigated in two different cases of unconstrained and constrained Having considered the mathematical theory of Optimization, the multi-objective model is introducet and it is shown how a Muti-Objective Optimization Model (MOON) is converted to a Quadratic programming (QP) and a Linear Complementtary Prblem (LCP). A simple geodetic network is selected for numerical studies, and one can see no significant difference between unconstrained and constrained multi-objective optomozation model of geodetic network.
