Abstract:
Nowadays, pollutant emissions reduction becomes the head of concern for many modern power girds and energy management systems. The implementation in CO2 Emissions Trade provides favorable conditions for micro-grid operating economically. In this regared, CO2 Emissions Trade is used for optimal operation of a micro-grid. An economical objective function which consists of different parameters is formulated. finally, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm has been used to solve the problem. The proposed alghorithm is verified over a test case and applied to typical micro-grid. The results show that the proposed model can smartly find the optimal set points of DERs and energy storage system in such a way that the total operating cost is minimized.Keywords: Z-Source converters; HVDC Light; Fault Current Limiting; Buck-Boost.
