An Analysis on the Risk Factors of Manufacturing Process of Male Part of Car Side Door Hinge Using FMEA Method abstract

Study and analysis of risk-creating factors in various industries and systems have been considered today. One of the tools can be used in this field is FMEA method. In the present study, application of FMEA in automobile manufacturing industries is examined. Among various processes of automobile manufacturing industries, production process of male part in car side door hinge system is studied. Information of this research is achieved based on comments relevant experts discussed. By using the opinions of experts, first of all, potential failure modes and the effects are achieved followed by relevant number for severity, fault detection, obtained by experts’ opinions and finally risk priority numbers(RPN) are obtained. These results can be effective in promoting the car manufacturing system.
