1-Hexene copolymerization with butyl acrylate using late transition metal catalyst

1,4-bis(2,6 diisopropylphenyl)-acenaphthene diimine dibromo-nickel(II) catalyst was used in copolymerization of 1-hexene (H) with butyl acrylate (BA). In order to study on the influence of molar ratios of BA on the activity and comonomer incorporation experiments performed under identical manner. Results showed that activity content decreased as BA incorporation enhanced. In addition to, the obtained copolymers characterized using FT-IR and 1HNMR analysis
