Rheologically Investigated Phase Diagram for Poly(mthyl methacrylate)/Polystyrene Blend

The changes in the morphology of low molecular weight PMMA/PS blends were investigated both rheologically and morphologically. Temperature sweep tests at a small fixed frequency were employed to quantitatively determine the temperature at which the blend morphology changes. Optical micrographs taken from the blends obviously indicate the morphology evolution from a two phase structure towards a homogeneous one
