WHAT HAPPENED FOR ELEMENT CARTRIDGE OF PRE-FILTER F-701? (Part I)

Stabilization plant (Unit 700) of Sarkhoon refinery has been designed for stabilizing of 1550 ton/day UN stabilized Condensate. The product of this unit are 11940 bbl/day ,1048 bb/day at standard condition LNG (liquid natural gas ) and LPG ( liquefied petroleum Gas) respectively .In order to removing water and dissolved salt from Condensate feed to stabilization plant An engineering Company was granted to Design, Engineering ,Manufacturing of pre filter and Liquid /Liquid coalescer .The scopes of installation filtration system are following. Remove water and dissolved salt from fresh feed any change in temperature causes water flash and salt deposit, on exchanger, control valve and on the trays of Deethanizer and Depropanizer towers . Remove solid particle and abrasive contaminant down to 2 micron from condensate to protect plant downstream against erosion and corrosion specifically pumps and related causing and mechanical seals For evaluation the performance of filtration system all parameter which must have taken in design consideration should be checked. It is necessary to do pilot field test in order to have a precise design the cartridges of the filtration system and help to manufactures for developing their method in design criteria.
