Talent Management Position in Achieving Competitive Advantage abstract
Today it is necessary for organizations to distinguish themselves through intangibleassets such as integrated strategy, leadership and in particular talent management. Inorder to respond to the complex and varying environment, talent managementencompasses personal and organizational development; therefore, talent managementis considered as an important factor in the organizations’ competitive advantage. Thecurrent study is a practical one. It is a descriptive data collection survey and acorrelational research. Statistical population consists of 044 employees and managersof Iran’s International Engineering Company. Using random sampling, 791 individualswere selected as the sample. Using Cronbach’s alpha the reliability of talentmanagement questionnaire and SMART PLS competitive advantage questionnairewas taken care of and it was calculated to be 4990 and 4990 respectively. In order to testthe research hypnosis’s, SMART PLS software and inferential statistics were used.Results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between absorption,development, selection and talent retention system and competitive. There is also apositive and significant relationship between talent management system andcompetitive advantage in Iran’s International Engineering Company. But, there is nosignificant relationship between talent utilization system and competitive advantage inIran’s International Engineering Company.
