An invented nano-gravimeter without using any spring via Electromagnetic Suspension abstract
Almost all the gravimeters, used in geophysical explorations, are designed on the base of a spring which has the length variation with gravity force. In this paper we have presented a new design without any spring which is based on electromagnetic suspension of a metallic material in present of electromagnetic field. The suspension of the object will be occurred when the gravitational force is equal by the electromagnetic force which is applied to the suspended material. The most advantage of this new design is no drifts of instrument for spring. This invented nano-gravimeter is registered in Iranian inventor’s registration office.
