Abstract:

Today, by the urban facilities developments, some inevitable problems were created. Traffic congestions, distribution of energy resources and consumption issues, Security, controls and other challenges, will lead us to use the concept of smart city , which utilizes latest ICT technologies to increase the performance of health, transportation, energy, education, and so on to arise the levels of citizen’s comforts.Big data is one of the latest technologies which has essential role in smart cities. Accumulation of huge amounts of data, storing, analyzing and knowledge creating are important steps in big data discussion. Since, these subjects are interconnected with personal and sensitive information, privacy and security issues become into limelight.Attackers will have more incentives to apply their malicious purposes in this era. This paper investigates security threats related to Big Data in the area of smart cities
