Abstract:
Dye and pigments are pollutants that cause several effects in water quality and has serious problems for human healthy. There for technology applied to remove these hazardous pollutants from water. Biosorption has been proved to be a well approach and cheap pollutant removal process among the other purification techniques. In this research removal of methylene blue were studied by two sorbents and compared the results of capabilities of these materials. More than 90% of methylene blue were removed from solution by two sorbents, silica fume an industrial waste and biomass of Aspergillus terreus
