Abstract:
Well Completion is the process of making an oil or gas well ready for commercial production. Once the Appraisal of a well is complete, ongoing drilling of the commercial well has to be completed only if the presence of hydrocarbons prove the project to be feasibly viable. During Well Completion process, the borehole is prepared as per the required specifications. Engineers complete the wellbore by running a production tubing deep into the hole along with its associated downhole tools. Sometimes, cementing the casing is also included under this process. Several methods have been used for well completion that most common criteria for classifying completions include:Open-hole completionsLiner CompletionPerforated completions other classifications includeWell completion in offshore well more sensitive from onshore well and the additional equipment used and its cost is higher. In this study, the design of well completion of South pars Phase 11 has been studied and tries to be optimization of Completion Fluid, material selection, Tubing Size Selection, Tubing optimization, completion procedure and completion equipment case study.
