Abstract:

Promotion of quality management system in roadmaintenance and transit organizations to develop regionaland international cooperation is inevitable. One of the bestsolutions for promotion of quality management system isachieving the highest possible degree of adaptability to leanmanufacturing approach. The basic lean manufacturingelements include production flow, organizing, processcontrol, measurement and supporting. Measurement in leanmanufacturing refers to system leanness, so roadmaintenance and transit organizations should constantlyassess the degree of adaptability of their qualitymanagement systems to lean manufacturing criteria. In thisstudy, we provide an improved fuzzy model for determiningleanness of quality management systems in roadmaintenance and transit organizations. In the mentionedfuzzy improved method, weighted value of experts can be inform of triangular fuzzy numbers and the number of judgingexperts from one criterion to another can be variable. Thecase study of this research is relevant to qualitymanagement system in road maintenance and transitorganization s Ardabil Province in Iran. The results indicatesum square error between the fuzzy proposed model and theknown technique of Willis method is equal to 0.08 whichshows significant differences between fuzzy proposed modeland Willis technique. This problem shows the accuracy,reliability, efficiency and certitude of the fuzzy proposedmodel in determining the rate of leanness in a system.
