Objective: Fish culture as a hobby or business is well established in all around the world. Increased interest in fish culture has also increased awareness of and experience with parasites that affect fish health, growth, and survival.Identification of parasites and their basic treatment is very important because a common mistake of fish culturists is misdiagnosing disease problems and treating their sick fish with the wrong medication or chemical. Selecting the wrong treatment because of misdiagnosis is a waste of time and money. Method & Materials: However,in all groups of fish parasites Digenean trematodes have a complex life cycle involving a series of hosts.Fish can be the primary or intermediate host depending on the digenean species. They are found externally or internally, in any organ.In our study, samples(fish Gasterointestinal tracts)were collected from fish markets in Ahvaz,southwest of Iran then were put in the 10%formalin solution and were brought to parasitology lab of veterinary facualty of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and gradually observerved by microscope,parasites in positive ones were collected in to 70% Ethanol for later identification, Results & Conclusion: after staining by acetocarmine method two new digenean trematodes named: Lecithochirium rufoviride (Rudolphi,1819) and Hypohepaticola callionymi (Yamaguti,1934) in Otolithes rubber gasterointestinal tracts was identified.
