Abstract:
Potasiom fluoride coated Fe3O4/K10 were prepared and employed as a magnetic catalyst for Knoevenagelcondensation under mild conditions. The catalyst can be readily recovered using a magnet and reused several timeswithout loss in activity or selectivity. This practical and eco-friendly protocol provides a facile way to C-C bondformation under mild conditions.
