Abstract:
In this paper, for achieving better performance, we will classify fractional order time delay systems (FOTD) into two categories; for first group we suggest a combination of fractional order fuzzy PID (FOFPID) controller and smith predictor (SP), then we tuned the controller parameters by genetic algorithm. For second group, we suggest a new method based on signal switching in combination with SP; and its performance is also investigated in the presence of model uncertainty and disturbance rejection. Moreover, the controller was adjusted by global robust stability area. This method is highly sensitive to noise, therefore we suggest an adaptive FIR filter for noise suppression.
