Abstract:

Polyolefin-based ternary polymer blends containing high density polyethylene (HDPE), polyamide 6 (PA-6), and poly vinyl alcohol (EVOH) were prepared and mechanical properties were studied. Theoretical and experimental methods were used to correlate the impact and tensile properties of blends with interfacial adhesion of a series of ternary blends in which the composition of blends was changed.
