Abstract:
the objective of this research project is to develop a generic mathematical model for the energy hub networks by considering the effect of efficiency variations on the system performance. The system of energy hub consists of different energy conversion and storage technologies. Considering the coupling matrix which is the representative of energy conversion technologies, as a function of other variables or parameter makes an energy hub model nonlinear. In this paper, a methodology for modeling and optimization the nested energy hub including inconstant coupling matrix and storage systems is presented. The proposed model is mixed nonlinear programming (MINLP) which with some modification change to MILP. As a case study scenario, the proposed model was implemented for 3 energy hubs. At the end, results and conclusions are given.
