Abstract:
Wind energy is one of the renewable energy sources, which has been expanding in many countries around the world due to the less pollution to the environment and the low cost of wind turbines compared to other new energy resources. Due to its geographical location, Sistan area is one of the most suitable places for wind power plant construction. In this regard, it is essential to find the optimal location for deploying equipment and facilities to exploit existing potential and probable potential. The purpose of this research is to determine the role of climatic, geographic and socioeconomic factors in determining the suitable location for wind power plants in Sistan region. Based on the different role and effect of these factors, using the experts opinions in preparing the questionnaire (urban experts, environmental experts and experts in the field of new energy) the map of constraints and the effective factors are prepared. Then, the weights of the criteria, sub criteria and options are determined by the method of the fuzzy hierarchy analysis process, and the GIS software is used for spatial modeling. Finally, the data integration and the map of suitable locations for wind turbines in the Sistan region are determined.
