Application Of Nanotechnology In Cancer Therapy And Cancer-Related Infections In Children abstract

Most of mortality throughout the world occurs due to cancer diseases. Nanostructures are the newcompounds that have become one of the most important technologies for utilizing in different fieldsover the past two years especially in medicine. In between, nanotechnology has the potential tocancer detection and therapy. This study is a review of prospects in applications of nano-materialsfor cancer detection and treatment. We have summarized the nano-materials (metal nanospheres, nanorods, nanoshells and nanotubes) in medical applications targeting cancer. We also discussadvancements in established nanoparticle technologies such as liposomes, polymer micelles, andfunctionalization regarding tumor targeting and controlled release strategies as well as drugdelivery. This paper will discuss the therapeutic applications of different nano-materials with amajor focus on their applications for the treatment of cancer and cancer- related diseases inchildren.
