In sociology and anthropology, social status is the honor or prestige attached to one s position in society (one s social position). It may also refer to a rank or position that one holds in a group, for example son or daughter, playmate, pupil, etc. This survey has been done in Fars Province, a city in south of Iran. The major criterion for selection of my sample was cluster sampling, then the researcher used simple random sampling as a final method for choosing the samples. In this study, the researcher has chosen 287 teachers of 1146 teachers of self-supporting women teachers in Fars Province according to Cochran Formula.
