Research on mechanical action of Magnesium alloy at room temperature under forming condition abstract

In this paper magnesium alloy AZ31 flow behavior in compression is studied. The experiments at different temperatures and high strain rates are done. To determine the stress-strain curve of the test ring is used. To eliminate inhomogeneous deformation in tensile and compression tests of Bridgeman numerical correction factors are used. With the proposed model are the ultimate stress and the calculated point of necking. The current treatment for this alloy at room temperature is determined. The effect of temperature changes on the mechanical behavior of high-temperature high-impact and flowing curves.
