Abstract:

Breast cancer (BC) as the most prevalent of malignant tumor in women that annually to kill many people from different societies. P53 gene has played an essential role in the development and prognosisof BC. Aim of this study is to investigate the prevalence P53 mutations in BC patients with positive familial history and the role of this gene in disease prognosis is in the relative of patients with BC. Inthis study, 278 paraffin blocks of breast carcinoma were collected. From the slides Made of these blocks was performed stained by immunohistochemistry. Statistical analysis was done in 49 personswith a positive family history had a P53 mutation. However, 55 persons which had P53 mutation, don’t have positive familial history and, The Qi-squre test was done significant relationship between P53mutation and was not family history (P=0.085). The similar results in term of P53 mutation and investigate this mutation with one class relationships was obtained. In the final, It can be concluded that the P53 gene mutations is not increased risk in familial breast cancer
