Abstract:
Cervical cancer is a major common cancer of woman in the world. One of the most significant risk factors is human papillomavirus, especially types 16 and 18. The virus is transmitted sexually way. Thewomen with several sexual partners, without the use of condoms, have the greater risk of HPV and the last developing cervical cancer, the age of women in their first sexual contact is important as a risk offactors. Others important factors the development of cervical cancer are smoking, contraceptive pill use and chlamydia infection. Screening is used As an important preventive measure in cervical cancerin many developed countries. A literature search in different databases, including Pubmed and Scopus, was performed in order of illustrating the correlation of cervical cancer. The major of studies showedone of the most important prevents of cervical cancer is teaching of safer sex skills. These skills included the use of protected and properly protected sex contacts. The cervical cancer is the fourth common woman cancer in the world. HPV, unprotected sex and smoking are significant factors in cervical cancer. So the prevention can decrease needs to complement secondary prevention and to reduce cervical cancer
