Abstract:

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide is. Incidence of breast cancer is increasing and patients are usually diagnosed in advanced stages The purpose of screening is that the disease after treatment and before it leads to clinical symptoms to recognize. The purpose of this study is to investigate women s knowledge about breast cancer screening methods .Materials and Methods:This cross - sectional study of 564 women who were referred to the clinics arranged formed among women. Data were gathered by a questionnaire including demographic data, personal and family history of breast disease and other questionnaires including information about breast cancer screening methods (, Brest self exam, mammography, Breast Examination, Clinical), attitudes about breast cancer screening .Results:Mean age of women ranging in age from 8.20 ± 29.02 (16-60 years). 26.2% were single and 71.6% married, and 2.1% were widowed. Most women were housewives, 58.5 percent and 62.5 percent had elementary education. 37% reported a history of giving birth three times. Only 11.3% of women reported a family history of breast disease. 65% of participants for breast examination were referred to a physician or clinic. 80.1% of participants reported the most common cancer in women with breast cancer.inform women about screening methods, 35% good, 57.6% moderate and the rest did not know. Mammography is the best way to approach the 80.9% majority of women with breast cancer have low self-worth and self-named .Conclusions No doubt the first step to promote public awareness about the disease of breast cancer early detection methods and screening methods. It also shows a positive attitude to screening methods for women with breast cancer are good preparations for training and screening procedures .
