Abstract:
Introduction:Male breast cancer is a very rare disease with an incidence of about 0.5–1% comparing with the one of female breast cancer but relatively little is known about its cause. The purpose of this rewive study is the investigation risk factors for breast cancer in men.Method:This study was conducted with refer to original articles that had been assessed risk factors for mail breast cancer.Results:Family history can affect the predisposition of male breast cancer. Electromagnetic fields exposure may be associated with the increase risk of male breast cancer. The risk factors for breast cancer in men and women are similar. Many of risk factor for women are related to their lifetime exposure to estrogen and other female reproductive hormones. Risk of breast cancer in men is also related to hormonal changes. Male breast cancer is associated with diseases or body conditions that increase estrogen exposure or that have effects similar to increased estrogen exposure. Body conditions that decrease levels of the male reproductive hormones, androgens, have also been associated. Such risk factors include: obesity, benign breast disease in men, diseases of the testes and liver.Conclusion:The risk factors for breast cancer in men and women are similar
