Investigation of Dyeing Properties of a Novel Monoazo Disperse Dye on Synthetic Fibers abstract
The dyeing properties of a novel monoazo disperse dye on three synthetic fibres such as nylon, polyester and acrylic fibres has been investigated. The results showed that the used dye is particularly suitable for coloring nylon fibres, giving deep red and good build up. Investigation of fastness properties of dyed fibres showed that polyester and nylon had very good wash and rubbing fastnesses but acrylic had relatively weak fastnesses.
