Preparation and Investigation Polymeric Hollow Multilayer Fiber Optics performs abstract
Polymer nanolayer films exhibit superior optical properties in comparison with common polymer monolayer films. These films are capable of guiding the light in certain directions and/or imitate the environment color by directing the light in itself, acting as a waveguide system. In this study, the polymer nanolayer films were prepared by layer to layer assembly of the polymer solution inside rotating cladding polymer tube by using a specially designed spin casting instrument. Removal of the cylindrical template provides us with hollow polymeric fibers that have been elongated to reach the desired length of the optical fibers
