Estimation of the Surface Tension of Mixtures of Isomeric Estimation of the Surface Tension of Mixtures of Isomeric abstract

In this study, by using corresponding states method, new reduced coordinates are proposed for estimating the surface tension of binary mixtures of isomeric chlorobutanes with cyclic ethers with different mole fractions. These new reduced coordinates are reduced temperature and reduced surface tension. The relationship between these coordinates has a linear form. With this relationship, the calculated values of surface tension of binary mixtures at temperatures 298.15 K and 313.15 K, are in good agreement with the experimental ones. The percentage of absolute average deviation (AAD%) for the whole data, which are 128 binary mixtures, is 2.05% .
